How to contact us
What information do we collect about you as a player, game author, or administrator?
We collect information about you whenever you login to our site, self-register to play a learning game on our platform, or when you are registered by a Game Author or System Administrator to play a game. In a typical use-case scenario, a customer of ours has employees that they want to train, and they use our platform to create learning games that their employees or associates will play to achieve the desired learning objectives.
The primary information we collect is the player’s name and email address. In some cases, depending on the custom selections made by the Game Author, registration may involve collecting additional information that has been determined to be relevant to their organization. The platform will also collect your performance data as you play the learning games that have been made available to you.
How will we use the information about you?
As you play a Knowledge Guru game, the platform will track your performance data and use that information to provide you with remediation and information to continue your progress towards the learning objective. This information may also be used to generate reports for the customer organization, so they can determine how successful learners are meeting their learning objectives.
Marketing for website visitors who do not log in
Please note that this section on marketing ONLY applies to visitors of the public-facing marketing section of our website. We do NOT use player, game author, or system administrator information for marketing purposes.
Our platform has an external marketing area of the website that explains how Knowledge Guru works and provides numerous resources and information related to learning game design. If you are visiting our marketing site, we would like to send you information about the services we offer which may be of interest to you. If you decide you would no longer like to receive emails or other marketing information, you may opt out at any time.
